Sitting just under 2 miles away is Chatsworth House, with its beautiful gardens and stately home, where you can also enjoy the farm and adventure playground or simply wonder the grounds, where deer roam. Another stately home, Haddon Hall, with its stunning gardens is just under 10 miles away. Monsal Trail, with tunnels and easy footpaths, makes for a great 9 mile leg stretch and is just 4.5 miles away from the property. A little further away, visit famous Bakewell and enjoy shops, cafes and of course enjoy the local delicacy of the Bakewell Pudding. Matlock and Matlock Bath sit just over 11 miles away, with The Heights of Abraham, cable cars, antique shops, riverside entertainment and arcades, attractions and shops; here are both scenic delights and vibrant attractions in one place.
