Country cottage meets boutique hotel in this immaculate, stone-built semi-detached cottage, which sits in the centre of Castleton in the pretty Peak District National Park. This is the ideal choice for a couple or a family group, whether youre seeking an action-packed adventure or a relaxing time sampling the restaurants and real ale pubs that make up Castleton; theres nothing to stop you doing both of course! The entrance hall leads into the lounge where the traditional beams, wooden flooring, charming woodburning stove and stone hearth blend seamlessly with the contemporary furniture and designer soft furnishings. From here, step into the farmhouse-style open kitchen/diner, with its quaint stable door and beautiful, shabby chic dining furniture and dresser. The outstandingly beautiful Peak District village of Castleton is situated at the top of the Hope Valley, on the doorstep of some great walking country. Castleton is world-famous for its visitor caves. Castleton has a fabulous array of interesting little gift shops, some fantastic food pubs and an excellent Visitor Centre with its small museum explaining life in the Hope Valley, plus the Christmas lights and festive activities are very popular during December.

The George pub which is just a couple of minutes walk away is very welcoming and serves delicious food! Cottage is very cosy and warm, we really enjoyed our stay here, thank you!

Lovely welcome pack waiting for us on arrival which was much appreciated. Everywhere was so clean & tidy. Beds very comfortable. There were 4 adults, 2 children, a dog & there was more than enough room for us all. The location was great & the parking space really handy. I would definitely stay here again & have already recommended to family & friends. Thanks for a great stay :)
