Bridge Cottage is a lovely cottage in the Derbyshire village of Eyam. It sleeps seven people in four bedrooms - one small double, one single, one second floor double with en-suite shower, basin and WC and one second floor twin. There is a bathroom with bath, basin and WC. The open plan living area includes a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for one car, along with an enclosed gravelled and decked front courtyard with furniture. With lovely walks in the surrounding countryside, many stately homes to visit and even Alton Towers around an hour's drive away, Bridge Cottage is a great base for a varied family break.

Eyam is an historic village in the Peak District National Park with wonderful countryside all around. The village is home to Eyam Hall, a charming 17th century manor house with lovely gardens and tea rooms and Eyam Museum. Eyam Moor sits above the village and offers great walks and superb views across the Derwent Valley. The market town of Bakewell is just 5 miles away, while Castleton, Buxton and Chatsworth House are easily reached.

The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
