A beautifully-presented, three bedroom, Victorian semi-detached cottage situated in the centre of the delightful High Peak village of Hayfield. This cottage is located on the edge of the Peak District National Park and is ideal for families or couples looking to explore this wonderful area. With contemporary furnishings, the bedrooms are spacious and light with one of them including an en-suite shower room. The bathroom is very luxurious with a designer roll-top bath and separate shower. The modern kitchen is extremely well equipped and there’s a small breakfast table if you just want to grab a quick bite before venturing out. If you prefer to gather round a table as a group, the dining room is a beautiful space and sets you in the mood for a relaxing dinner. There is also a comfortable sitting area here which is a great place to flop after your feast and continue with the conversation. There’s also a TV so the room can double as a breakaway room for children to watch a movie, while the adults relax through into the main sitting room (or the other way around of course). The main sitting room continues the theme, with comfortable leather sofas and armchairs making for an extremely cosy evening gazing at the dancing flames of the woodburning stove. A pleasant patio and gravelled area to the side of the cottage is an ideal place to dine alfresco or for the children run off a bit of energy. That’s assuming you have any energy left of course as there is so much to do in the surrounding area. The excellent Sett Valley Trail is just across the way and you are right on the edge of the Peak District National Park and some of the best walks in the UK. If you have worked up an appetite and a thirst, you have an easy walk to Hayfield’s restaurants and real ale pubs, or you can even jump on a train for a short hop to the cities of Manchester or Sheffield. There’s an endless list of possibilities at this cottage all year round.

The High Peak village of Hayfield is situated on the north western edge of the Peak National Park. The village offers pubs, cafes and restaurants and a number of walks are available from the door. Also within reach are Castleton with its famous caverns and the popular spa town of Buxton.
