Glossop is a thriving old mill town in Derbyshire's northwestern corner, surrounded by breathtaking Peak District landscape. Manor Park, which is close by, was previously the grounds of Glossop Hall, which was once owned by the Dukes of Norfolk. With bowling greens, a semi-natural woodland, a children's play area, and tennis courts, it's now a great place for a summer picnic.
