Amour Deluxe offers a spacious, beautifully decorated lodge in a peaceful, secluded setting on the edge of woodland and farmland. Guests consistently praise the comfortable beds, relaxing hot tub, and tranquil location, making it ideal for a restful break. While the lodge is generally clean and well-equipped, some minor maintenance issues such as peeling kitchen cupboards and cobwebs have been noted. The property would benefit from a little extra attention to detail, but overall, visitors enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay surrounded by nature.
Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, with fresh towels and bedding. However, a few mentioned cobwebs, dirty sheets, and a need for more thorough cleaning in some areas, particularly the hot tub on one occasion.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, seclusion, and proximity to nature, with lovely views and easy access to walking tracks. The only minor drawback mentioned is the challenging track leading to the site.
Guests frequently highlight the spaciousness, comfortable beds, and relaxing atmosphere. While most found the beds and sofas very comfortable, one guest found the bed uncomfortable and preferred the sofa.
The lodge is well-equipped with a hot tub, good furnishings, and ample space. Some maintenance issues were noted, such as peeling kitchen cupboards, worn breakfast chairs, and minor wear and tear, but these did not significantly impact most stays.
Guests appreciated timely responses to requests and polite staff. Some suggested that a welcome pack with tea, milk, or biscuits would be a nice touch, but such gifts are not guaranteed. The provision of plastic cups for the hot tub area was also recommended.

Arrival Information
Please ensure that you read the travelling instructions carefully as satellite navigation systems can be inaccurate. Please be aware to get to this park there is a long single track lane which is quite narrow and bumpy. Please drive with care on your approach to the lodges.
Facilities
There will be no BBQ’s allowed on park. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Security deposit
Please be aware that a security/key deposit of £100 is required with a swipe of a credit/debit card on arrival. Providing this does not need to be utilised, the deposit will be returned within 72 hours.
Any parties who book more than one lodge will be subject to a security deposit of £150 per lodge paid by cash only. Deposits will be refunded on departure as long as no damage has been caused.
Please note that your hot tub may not have reached the ideal temperature at the time of arrival. You may need to wait an additional time before being able to use the hot tub on your day of arrival.

It's our 2nd visit to Charlesworth lodges. We went in July 2023 and again in August 2026. The location is great, and like last time we absolutely loved our lodge. We stayed in the amor deluxe this time. The hot tub was fully private, the layout was beautiful! And there is so much space inside the lodge. The grounds around the lodges is clean and it's lovely and quiet. Great place for nature as well. I would have to be very picky if I had any negatives, my only little niggle was that the lodge seemed to be a little run down. There was a lot of cobwebs, and there was some grey tape keeping some of the floor in place in the kitchen. I would say it needed abit of TLC. However, I would still rate it highly, the bed was super comfy just like last time. The towels were fresh, and it's a comfy lodge. We will be back again. The highlight of our stay was of course access to the hot tub after a long day of hiking and the hot tub is big and had a great temperature, backing onto the forest which was perfect!

Lodge and location are lovely and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, hot tub was extremely clean and stayed like it all week - the people that checked the hot tub were very polite and chatty too. As other people have mentioned there are a couple of little minor things in the lodge that need attention but nothing that would spoil the holiday.
