House was very clean and comfortable, very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Lots of parking. Great location with a lovely walk across the hills to a lush pub in Chinley. Only 2 minor criticisms, keep more firewood in the cellar and put a blind on the landing window if the light is an issue with neighbour. All in all, excellent, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Although it didnât negatively impact on our stay, it could do with some general maintenance: both gates donât easily open/close and there are several holes in the walls, varying in size. Some walls could do with a lick of paint. Overall though, we had a great stay and would happily revisit.

On arrival, found a left over take away in fridge plus items of food in freezers 2. Wet hand towels and tea towels left around kitchen to dry, fortunately we brought some with us as there were no dry ones available in the house for use 3. Bedding from previous rental left in front porch and not collected until Wednesday (day 5 of our stay) 4. Several items of clothing left on kitchen bench
