    A wonderful ground floor, two bedroom apartment located in the village of Chisworth, a contemporary holiday home converted from a former mill. Suited for couples or a small family, you and your loved ones can spend some quality time together in the heart-warming layout which makes a fantastic base to return to during your stay. As you arrive, the open-plan lounge area welcomes you inside boasting comfortable seating, a table for four people, and a modern kitchen which lies to the back of the room. After the sun sets you will look forward to preparing those home-cooked meals before settling down in front of the TV to enjoy some peace and quiet. Two bedrooms lie close by, each promise a relaxing atmosphere, laced with neutral décor and a calming overtone that sets the scene for a cosy night's sleep. The first room boasts a king-size bed, whilst the second is ideal for families, with a double and single bed. In your downtime, why not take a moment to appreciate the lovely location by resting on the bench outside? After exploring the charm that hides within the hamlet of Chisworth and the neighbouring villages of Charlesworth and Broadbottom, head towards Glossop, an excellent base for touring some of the area's classic walking country including Black Hill, Bleaklow, Kinder Scout and the Longdendale Valley. Also on the doorstep is the village of Marple Bridge which has a good selection of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. The village also has direct rail links to Manchester and the Hope Valley line through to Edale, Hope and Hathersage. The Macclesfield and the Peak Forest Canals both pass through the village and offer a wide selection of walks that will appeal to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. A little further afield, the apartment is ideally situated to enjoy the Peak District's main attractions with Hayfield and Lyme Park just a few miles away and Castleton, Buxton and the Hope Valley all within an easy 35 minute drive. Guests can also easily enjoy all that the city of Manchester has to offer, There is a regular train service to Manchester that takes 25 minutes from Broadbottom station which is a5 minute drive away from the apartment with ample free parking. Here you will find a huge selection of high street and boutique shops, theatres, restaurants, Manchester United and City football stadiums and number of top visitor attractions such as the Museum of Science and Industry and the Lowry Centre.
    From countryside to stone cottages, to the big city this is a wonderful base to explore everything the area has to offer.

    Chisworth is located 3 miles south-west of Glossop's town centre and remains home to a Methodist chapel. It is an excellent base for exploring some of the area's classic walking country, including Black Hill, Bleaklow, Kinder Scout and the Longdendale Valley. There is plenty to interest visitors in Old Glossop, from stone cottages to the notable Manor Park.

    "Although this apartment is in a residential development it remains characterful and very peaceful. We used it as a base for Manchester with excellent rail links to the city. Two return fares is still considerably less than city parking. The kitchen is compact but has EVERYTHING you need even sharp knives. The beds are comfortable and the property stays very warm. The host Greg is very obliging and a welcome tray of tea coffee and chocolates with fresh flowers is a thoughtful touch.The hot water ..."

    " Although this apartment is in a residential development it remains characterful and very peaceful. We used it as a base for Manchester with excellent rail links to the city. Two return fares is still considerably less than city parking. The kitchen is compact but has EVERYTHING you need even sharp knives. The beds are comfortable and the property stays very warm. The host Greg is very obliging and a welcome tray of tea coffee and chocolates with fresh flowers is a thoughtful touch.The hot water was not quite hot enough and needs adjusting but that’s a minor thing in what was a lovely stay. "

    " Excellent value for money. Good local provisions/food within 5mins drive/20-25 mins walk - village shops, Lymefield garden centre. Very well located for local walks and for the Peak District; excellent access to Manchester (regular train from Broadbottom, which is 5 mins away by car, takes 25 mins to Manchester Piccadilly). Would have no hesitation booking again in the future. "
