The cottage is comfy, cosy and bigger than we expected. The beds are not 'home' quality but are definitely comfortable enough. The location was perfect for us - 2 adults, 2 children (8&12) and a dog. Tideswell is a lovely place to have a wander round with some very friendly pubs. Days out at Buxton/Crich/Chatsworth/Matlock are a pleasant drive away. We were there for the August Bank Holiday weekend which meant that our stay coincided with 'George Fest 22'. We enjoyed the evening we spent at the festival but there was quite a lot of music noise that could be heard late into the night back at the cottage. It didn't spoil our stay but might be worth knowing if you're there for any other George Fest weekends.

Lovely property in the perfect location. Close to lots of good walks. A really nice comfortable stay. The house has everything you could need (they have literally thought of everything) and the village has all you could need too, a shop, cash machine and lovely pub (or 3). We would definitely recommend and would stay again.
