Stanton Lodge provides comfortable and well - appointed accommodation, together with sunny garden areas. This is an ideal base to explore the splendours of the Peak District. There are lovely walks from the house in every direction including to the grand country houses of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. The historic town of Bakewell is a short drive away.

The house is spacious throughout. Entered from the garden, the front door leads into the hall with a large lounge to the right with a welcoming open fire. On the left is the elegant dining room. To the rear is the modern fitted eat-in kitchen with all the essentials required for your stay. Also on the ground floor is a toilet with hand basin.

The stairs lead to the four bedrooms. The main double bedroom has a king-size double bed, the second, also a good size, with twin beds (that can be pushed together) and vanity/sink unit. There is a small double bedroom and a single bedroom. The general bathroom has a bath and electric shower over toilet and hand basin. On the ground floor there is a cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

There are lawned areas to the front and side and a sunny rear patio with furniture. There is parking for two cars on the property and also a garage, which can take a third car, and provides secure storage space for bicycles.
