Each room was done so thoughtfully, there was everything we need in the kitchen and other rooms, including wood for the fire. Hannah left a lovely welcome basket too. Location was brilliant, walking distance to Wirksworth (which is lovely to explore) and other walks around Bolehill and a short drive to Cromford Mill and canal which is well worth a visit, we were lucky as there was a great artisan market there when we went. The heating wasn't playing ball on the first night so John immediately popped over and sorted it. Both very friendly hosts. So peaceful and quiet, with really comfy beds, we slept so well! We will definitely be coming back.

Easy walk down the lane in to Wirksworth. Everything we needed in the house. Well stocked kitchen, pans and utensils etc. Lovely basket of goodies waiting for us. Worked well with two families coming together for a week.

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners had left a fab welcome basket as well which we enjoyed. The kids enjoyed seeing the horse and the chickens in the field and there are great views from the lounge and patio. Being only a short walk from the High Peak Trail was great and good if you donât want to drive everyday.
