In Brassington, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, our Rainster Cabin offers self-catering accommodation that's peaceful, stylish and available all year. Enjoy a luxurious stay in a rural log cabin, where our focus is on providing a home-from-home experience without the pressures of daily life. Rainster is situated on our working beef and sheep farm, offering eco-friendly stays in open countryside. We invite you to enjoy a real farmland experience, meeting and helping to feed our animals, or collecting eggs from our happy free range hens.

Sleeping four, our Rainster Cabin features a modern lounge including a TV and DVD player, and a selection of toys, games and books for the kids. There's also a log-effect fire, perfect for winter evenings. The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher and slow cooker amongst other appliances, and eco-friendly toiletries and cleaning products are provided. Guests sleep in two super-king bedrooms, with one being en-suite and suitable for conversion to a twin room. A large and luxurious bathroom features a whirlpool bath and over-bath shower, and you'll have use of a private patio with BBQ. The cabin has level access throughout and a number of fittings suitable for wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. Additional specialist equipment is available on request, including electric profile beds, shower chairs, bed rails and mobile hoist.

You'll arrive to find a welcome pack including home-baked bread, free range eggs, biscuits and milk to help you settle in. On-site, we have secure bike storage and ample off-road parking. We provide DIY stabling and fully catered livery if you'd like to bring your horse, and we have an on-site hot tub available for use with a range of packages at additional cost. We also have a fire pit, which can be hired inclusive of mulled wine, marshmallows and chocolate, and have takeaway breakfasts and evening meals for an additional charge. We provide outstanding facilities for guests with visual, hearing and mobility impairments.
