We really enjoyed our week at Pinfold cottage chosen for its rural setting which suited us. The surrounding countryside and views are amazing with lots of walks from the doorstep. The nearest shop is just over a mile away at Winster, accessed using clearly marked footpaths. It is a well stocked community shop open 7 days. The pub in the village opens Wednesday to Sunday at 8.30pm were you can mingle and chat with the locals. The local bus although infrequent, passes close by the cottage, and we used it to get to Bakewell and Matlock. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, with everything needed to enjoy the stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
