The Classic Vogue lodges offer a light, open-plan living space with contemporary furnishings, wooden floors, and patio doors that lead to a gated deck with outdoor dining furniture. The living area features a dining table, comfy sofas, and a TV with Chromecast for streaming. Inside, there’s a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a modern family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Two dogs allowed.

Directions

Darwin Forest is located in a rural location 4 miles from Matlock and 8 miles from Chesterfield. Postcode for Sat Nav: We have recently changed our postcode to DE4 5PL which means that some Sat Navs and route planners do not recognise it. Please use DE4 5LN if this is the case. Please note that this postcode will direct you about 1 mile from the Park, so please look out for signs.

From the North: Leave the M1 at junction 29. Take the A617 to Chesterfield and then follow signs for the A632 towards Matlock. After 5 miles turn right onto the B5057 towards Darley Dale (Darwin Forest is signposted here). Continue for 2 miles. Darwin Forest is located on the right-hand side just after the sign for the Derbyshire Dales.

From the South: Leave the M1 at junction 28. Take the A38 to Alfreton and then follow the A615 towards Matlock. Approximately 2 miles past the village of Wessington you will need to turn right onto Lickpenny Lane. Continue over the crossroads onto Holestone Gate Road, before joining Slack Hill (A632) and turning right onto Wirestone Lane (Darwin Forest is signposted here). At the next major crossroads turn left onto the B5057. Darwin Forest is located on the right-hand side just after the sign for the Derbyshire Dales.

Early check-in of 2pm is available for the Glade and Spinney Exclusive Spa Lodges (Excludes Spinney Spa lodges)

PETS

This Park does accept pets in certain lodges but there may be restrictions on certain animals or breeds. Please check before booking. A £50 security deposit may be required upon check in. Please ensure that you have selected pets in the drop-down box when inputting your party details. If you have not selected a pet, and not paid the additional pet charges, then you will not be able to stay in the accommodation with your pet.

Robes

Our ‘Spa’ lodges include a hot tub for you to enjoy whilst on holiday. Each ‘Spa’ lodge includes two complimentary robes in each double bedroom. E.g. A three bedroom lodge that has 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms will include two complimentary robes.

Robes are provided for use during your stay and must be left in your lodge when you depart. Robes are provided for use with your lodge’s hot tub and should not be taken off-site or to the swimming pool.

Please note that missing robes will be charged at £70 per robe.

Additional robes can be booked in advance via Reception. These are charged at £10 per robe and a £70 charge will be incurred for any missing robes. We only stock a limited amount of spare robes onsite, so please book in advance of your holiday to avoid disappointment.

Group bookings

A group booking can consist of:

· 10 or more people, all male/female parties or two or more couple under 25 years of age

A group booking form is required and will be sent by the park to be completed once the booking has been accepted. A security deposit will be payable upon arrival which is as follows:

£50 for each 2-berth lodge

£100 for each 4-berth lodge

£150 for each 6-berth lodge

£200 for each 8-berth lodge

Please be aware that this is a family park and therefore not suitable for loud and noisy groups, the park will not tolerate disturbance to other guests.

Dogs T&Cs:

We allow guests to bring two dogs to stay in our lodges that are designated as pet friendly. Dogs are charged at £30 each per short break and £45 each per week. All our pet friendly lodges have an enclosed veranda or a gate.
We want you and your dog to enjoy your holiday and our team are more than happy to advise you about local walks and pet friendly places to eat and attractions in the area.
To ensure that you and other guests enjoy your holiday, please adhere to the following.
Keeping your dog under control: It is a legal requirement that your dog is kept under control at all times.
Dog Fouling: Please ensure that you pick up and dispose of all dog fouling in a responsible manner.
Around the park: Please keep your dog under control and on a lead at all times around the park and on walks shown on the back of the park map. The footpaths have a high footfall and are used by cyclists, walkers and families with young children.
Countryside Code: Please adhere to the countryside code when walking around the woodland walks and footpaths in the area. Please keep your dog on a lead in any fields where there is livestock, especially lambs, and be mindful of ground nesting birds.
Accommodation etiquette: Only well-behaved dogs can be left unattended in the lodge and then only for short periods of time. Dogs should be kept off furniture and beds. If you cannot keep your dogs off furniture and beds, please ensure you bring a blanket or throw to protect the furniture. Use of our blankets is prohibited. Please bring your own dog beds and dog bowls.
Please use the dog washing facilities to clean your dogs paws as much as possible before entering the lodge. We would encourage you to bring a dog towel to assist with cleaning.
Any damage or additional cleaning caused by dogs will be charged for.
Which facilities are dog friendly: Dogs are allowed in the bar area of the Foresters, Explorer’s café and reception. Dogs are not allowed in the playground, activity den, shop, Evolution Health & Fitness, Little Monkeys or the restaurant area in the Foresters.
Restricted Breeds: Certain dangerous breeds are not allowed on park. We do not accept the following types of dogs; XL Bully, American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fuila Brasileiro and Dogo Argentino. Any other type of dog which could present a danger or alarm to other visitors is also excluded.
If you dog shows aggressive behaviour you will be asked to leave the park immediately with no compensation.
Charges: Pinelodge Holidays Ltd reserves the right to charge a £150 bond for bringing dogs and charge for damage to the lodge or extra cleaning of furniture.

Chatsworth Elite Vogue 3 (LP25535)

This accommodation as standard is set up to one double and two twins, however if you have a specific request to the layout please advise at time of booking.
