Make sure you visit pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath (5 miles), Ashbourne (7.5 miles), Bakewell (12.5 miles) and Buxton (21 miles), all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants, and head into the nearby market town of Wirksworth (2 miles) to enjoy the interesting architecture and local independent shops.
