Undercroft is a cosy and comfortable cottage carefully restored to create a lovely holiday retreat.
Set in a row of beautiful stone buildings, Undercroft Cottage has been elegantly restored for friends and family to use as a perfect base when exploring the attractions in the Peak District. Cook up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen before heading to the lounge to enjoy a night around the fireplace. On a summer evening, why not take your favourite drink out into the extensive garden and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst watching the beautiful sunset.
Take a stroll into the quaint village of Foolow and feed the ducks on the pond. If you fancy venturing further away from the cottage, you won’t be short for things to do; the National Tramway Museum, Bakewell famous for its Pudding, Matlock Bath’s cable cars, Carsington Water or even the grand Chatsworth House are all nearby.

This was our second time here at the cottage as we really loved our last stay and we’re really glad we came back. It was a great place to stay and shelter from the rain, with great walks in the area and really good food at the Bull’s Head. We’d love to come back for a third time!’

Lovely cottage and base for the Peaks. Excellent and recommended walk from Foolow- Eyam- Abney - Bretton & rtn ... with great views and excellent food at The Barrel (Bretton). Good food at the Bull’s Head. All excellent & thanks for the biscuits.
