"A washing machine is clearly seen in the kitchen photos - and is a MUST at this type of location (walking in the Peak District is no dryer or cleaner an experience than any other glorious countryside location). As washing machine could be seen in photos, no questions were needed prior to holiday.... Very disappointed especially as in the lovely kitchen there is plenty of space for not only a slim-line dishwasher, but a washing machine and a fridge AND freezer."

"It was warm and cosy.and very clean.we normally go for detached cottages.but being at the end of this quant village in a rural area was a delight.it was still very peaceful and relaxing.we all ways recommend cottages to friends and family."

"Across the road from the house is a church and an infant school . Even at the height of the “school run” there were no more than 4 cars on the road outside the house. The owner visited at the start of our stay and was very helpful, thank you. A previous occupant mentioned difficulty accessing the drive. I have a small car but managed without difficulty. My brother and myself arranged the visit to give our father a break following a period of ill health. The only comment I would make was that he had difficulty on the top 3 stairs as the handrail did not extend to the top, but this was a minor point. Overall, I would not hesitate to return to this house and recommend it to others."

"A bigger freezer would have been useful. Also I couldn’t park in the drive as the camber on the entrance meant my car scrapped on its underside the one time I tried to park in it. But these are minor quibbles as we had an excellent time in excellent accommodation."
