1 Bedroom- Located towards the edge of the village, this is one of two character barns at this location, set in the Owners grounds.
Ideally positioned to enjoy the facilities of the village, enjoy a meal out or walk the banks of the River Derwent that runs into the parklands of Chatsworth House.
Enjoy some excellent walking from your doorstep, with the nearby Baslow and Curbar Edges, an escarpment from where you can take in some truly spectacular views of the surrounding area or for the more adventurous try some rock climbing.
This is an ideal base from which to explore this area of the Peak District National Park.
You enter the accommodation, which originally was the village cobbler's shop, from the patio sitting out area into the hall / kitchen area, which is well equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.
A single step up will take you into the good sized and welcoming lounge / dining room.
The stairs from the lounge lead to the main bedroom with a double bed off which is the bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet.
This cottage is one of two cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 4 people, the other is: Lower Barn (Sleeps 2).
