The location is central for exploring the Peak District, with easy access to local towns and attractions. However, some guests noted traffic noise due to the cottage's proximity to a busy crossroads.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with a home-from-home feel. Comfortable beds and a well-equipped living space contributed to the high comfort level, although some guests mentioned the need for earplugs due to traffic noise.

Property was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Its on a main crossroads with some very heavy traffic, which did concern me with young children. Lots to do locally and we had an enjoyable week away. Thank you for the warm welcome we received.

Beautiful well equipped cottage. Done to a very high standard. Only disadvantage was the head room in the up stairs double bedroom. But we coped because the rest of the cottage more than made up for that, would definitely stay again.Could do with an earlier book in and slightly later departure.
