3 Bedrooms – This character stone cottage has recently been completely refurbished to provide spacious, comfortable and stylish accommodation, in this popular village at the gateway to the parklands of Chatsworth House in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

The cottage has an attractive rockery styled front garden with a screened off area for BBQs. Several pubs and restaurants are within a short walk and the local village shop is less than 100 meters away!

You enter the cottage from the cottage garden into the hall. To your left is the L shaped open plan and beamed ceiling lounge area with its charming original fireplace incorporating a log burning stove, dining area and galley style kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you will require for your stay.

Also on the ground floor is the third bedroom, with a double bed with en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, toilet and hand basin.

Stairs lead to the first floor and the two remaining bedrooms, each bedroom having two single beds – the bedrooms both access the shower room (jack and jill style) with shower cubicle, toilet and hand basin.

The garden enjoys the sun throughout most of the day and includes a patio area that is well secluded from the lane by mature evergreen shrubs. Please note bookings are a Friday start.
