An attractive single-storey stone cottage situated between the popular villages of Calver and Baslow.
A wonderful single-storey stone cottage positioned in a beautiful location close to the glistening River Derwent that flows along the valley. Stanton Lodge makes great accommodation, with its attractive and spacious lounge/diner, well equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms, you will be all set to explore its surroundings.
Set between the villages of Baslow and Calver, and just a couple of miles from the historic 'plague village' of Eyam, you’re not far from many local attractions and sights to see. Stroll into Baslow and browse the village shops, stop in for lunch at one of the local restaurants or a pint in one of the friendly pubs. You may want to hop in the car and explore famous Chatsworth House, historic Haddon Hall or sample Bakewell’s famous Pudding. Calver is popular, home to the Bridge Inn, Calver Craft Centre and why not take a hike up to Calver Edge to soak up the beautiful views.
When you return to base, enjoy a glass of something special in the cottage courtyard and watch the sun set over the Peaks.

Mr Ambler
A lovely cottage ideally placed for the exploration of the Peak District. Shops are fairly near and easily accessible. The owners were very good and could not do enough for us if we needed anything, a wonderful experience for all 4 of us
Mrs Bond
Very nice cottage, well equipped, with excellent situation near Curbar Edge. Near main road but not on it, so very quiet. Beds comfortable. Hot/cold water a bit complicated until you get used to it! Monsal trail, lovely villages, Chatsworth gardens, Eyam all recommended Walks galore. Welldressing. ALL
