This is a perfect place to discover the area. Superbly placed in Baslow with restaurants, pubs and cafes within a short walk. Ideally placed to explore the local countryside on foot with both short and more challenging walks straight from your doorstep. The cottage was lovely, very homely with great hosts who went the extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable. Thoroughly recommended and will return.

The cottage was very comfortable and in a great location for exploring the Peak District. The only real thing we have to say that’s negative was the dampness caused by lack of good ventilation. We really hope this can be sorted as the hosts are extremely nice people. This is a great location for visiting all of the Peak District Towns, and the open top Bus service from the centre of town is to be recommended. A visit to the Devonshire Arms is a must , particularly to their Supper Club. To sum up, a great location, a good accommodation and Baslow is wonderful.

We had a really lovely time at the Pottery Annex. The cottage was clean and well presented with all the equipment required for a week. The owners were attentive and on hand for any issues. Baslow has all the amenities you need with the benefit Chatsworth Estate on the doorstep and good transport links to Bakewell and Sheffield.
