There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is consistently described as beautiful, with stunning views from the hot tub and easy access to walking routes, making it ideal for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity.

Guests find The Dairy comfortable, with en-suite bedrooms and a cosy open plan area. The property accommodates a wide age range, and the additional cottage adds flexibility for larger groups.

The facilities, including a well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, and log fire, are highly appreciated. However, a suggestion for a washing line and the tricky access road indicate minor room for improvement.

The caretaker's responsiveness and provision of items like stair gates and a high chair demonstrate thoughtfulness. A welcome pack is mentioned, which is a delightful touch, though such gifts are not guaranteed.

The only comment we had is the layout of the living area in the Dairy. Whilst the old church pew is lovely, it dominates the room and restricts the living area for a large group. We ended up turning the dining table around and moving the setties into 2 halves to create more of a social u-shape seating area around the fire, but this was obstructed by the pew. A shorter bench seat/pew for the dining table, allowing a c-shape settee area would be much more sociable for groups of 10, which isbwhat the cottage caters for. This was the only downside for a large group, everything else was perfect and our 6 group dogs loved the garden and house. The walks from the property are fab and we did several. A great place to stay with friends.

The accommodation was perfect. Very clean. Lots of space for all of us.The kitchen was so well stocked. Each bedroom and bathroom were beautiful. The cosy cottage next door proved to be very useful as an 'overflow' for fridge space etc as well as additional living/sleeping space. The location and surrounding area were amazing, even in wet weather! And the welcome pack is always a bonus. The Dairy is ideal for a large group of people.

Technology (even for our adult children) took second place to the idyllic surroundings (including from out hot tub!!). Any minor niggles were quickly dealt with by the caretaker and don't worry if you collect bottles and recycling, these are collected routinely or with just a message. I couldn't complete this message without mention of the single line access to the property which we got stuck in and had to reverse on an upward incline; irritating initially but adapted by sending out a recce' team. Minor inconvenience for the pleasure of being here. In all, we loved this place, its character, the amenities and the surroundings.
