Youlgrave is a village of limestone buildings and an impressive 12th century church, with three pubs, a village shop/tea room, vegetarian bakery, post office and garage, located above Lathkill and Bradford Dales. On an 11-mile radius it takes in the market towns of Buxton, Ashbourne and Chesterfield and is in close proximity to Bakewell and Matlock. Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are both a short drive away and well worth the visit, and the former can also be reached within a very pleasant 40-minute walk. Shop and restaurant 200 yards, pub 100 yards.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area,plenty of walks in the area and a bus stop right outside if you want to go further afield..owner was a lovely lady,the ginger cake was delicious thank you!

The USP for this cottage other than its in a great village close to Bakewell is that it has off street parking.
