1 Bedroom- The 300-year-old Grade II listed cottage lies in the heart of this popular Peak District village, on the River Wye and a short distance from the market town of Bakewell. This pretty riverside village is no only rich in character but offers a cafe, bars and an excellent village shop. The Monsal Trail runs by the village into Monsal Dale where you can walk or cycle the old railway tracks, the tunnels having only recently been reopened. The historic grounds of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are only a short drive away.

As you enter through the small walled front garden, you walk into the lounge with beamed ceiling, part oak panel, original gritstone fireplace, with Coalbrookdale cast iron stove (gas), and window seat, all add considerable charm and character to the cottage.

Off the lounge is a small room, useful for storage.

The kitchen dining area to the rear is fitted with all the essential equipment you will require. From the lounge the winding stairs lead to the first floor and the bathroom comprising of bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Off a small landing is the spacious and well fitted bedroom with double bed, colour TV, and colourful fabrics enhancing the room along with the original bedroom fireplace.

At the rear of the cottage is a yard with outbuildings with storage for bikes.
