The drawback was the very steep staircase to the flat which is situated on the top floor, which in Skye Cottages defence we were warned about. The heating was very difficult to workout and on occasions we were very cold, we never got the towel rail to work during our 4 night stay. The main negative to the property was the traffic noise which was relentless, the road outside is a main run for lorries and fairly heavy traffic. Also the constant bleeping of the pedestrian crossing was very annoying. The property desperately needs double glazing! Even as a good sleeper I had issues.
