The facilities are good - super shower and best towels experienced in holiday lets. As December, pleased that heating was on - it did get chilly couple of days mid-afternoon and electric fire not very powerful. No problems at all with the let.

Shops, pubs and takeaways were all on the doorstep. Great location to go exploring Hadrians Wall, the local countryside and my family.

The accomodation gives access to superb historical, archaeological and walking/hiking facilities, providing for a fantastic holiday. The apartment is lovely, overlooking the main street and internally it has all that is required for a wonderful stay. We loved the split level in the apartment. Highly recommended, we will be back.
