Guests say

The Farmhouse Retreat in Stalybridge receives high praise for its warm and cosy atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and the welcoming nature of the hosts, Sara and Paul. Guests appreciate the secure, comfortable, and well-equipped property, noting its cleanliness and the stunning views. The location is ideal for both city trips and countryside excursions. Thoughtful gestures by the hosts enhance the stay, though such kindness should be seen as a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

Reviews consistently mention the property being very clean and well-maintained, with only one minor complaint about an oven, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness.

The property's location is praised for its beautiful views and proximity to Manchester and the Peak District, though access via a narrow steep road is noted.

Guests find the property comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and cosy atmosphere, although one review mentions an uncomfortable sofa.

Facilities are generally regarded as great, with secure gates and good amenities. However, there is a mention of lacking drawer space and a dining table, which slightly lowers the score.

Hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, including accommodating a guest with disabilities and providing a cuddly toy. However, it's important to note that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed.
