For those wanting to get out and explore the area, there is plenty to see and do including plenty of walks, as well as the Cheshire Cycleway (Regional Route 70) and the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal. Shrewsbury town is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away and boasts an array of bars, shops and restaurants. After a busy day sightseeing, guests can return to the property and enjoy the private garden with garden furniture overlooking the nearby lake. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 90 yards.

Overall very comfortable and very clean. Host was welcoming. Minor point to note the TV is in the bedroom area and isn't a smart TV, but it didn't say it was, however it's something you come to expect from luxury accommodation. Otherwise couldn't fault it.

We had an amazing stay at the garden retreat. The place is gorgeous and had everything we could have needed! The hosts are really friendly and lovely, they even baked us a cake on arrival which was delicious! Set in a lovely peaceful village, with beautiful views and a great pub over the road serving really good food and drinks. Highly recommend the garden retreat!
