Doorstones Cottage receives high praise for its beautiful, well-furnished interiors, peaceful location, and excellent access to both Manchester and scenic countryside. Guests consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, with many describing it as cosy and well-equipped. The property is ideal for families, couples, and pet owners, offering lovely views and nearby walks. While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a few guests noted minor maintenance issues and occasional draughts. Overall, the cottage is highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The majority of guests describe the cottage as spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with only one review mentioning dampness due to a leaking window. Overall, cleanliness is a standout feature.

Guests appreciate the peaceful, semi-rural setting with easy access to Manchester and beautiful countryside. The location is praised for its views, proximity to walks, and convenience for both leisure and work.

Most reviews highlight the cottage's comfort, cosy atmosphere, and quality beds. However, a small number of guests mentioned issues with heating and bed comfort, slightly lowering the score.

The cottage is frequently described as well-equipped with ample amenities, though a few guests noted minor issues such as a beeping noise, draughts, and the lack of a smart TV in the living room.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches and gifts such as welcome treats, but as these are not guaranteed for every stay, future guests should note that such extras may vary.

Beautiful place to stay sunset is amazing Weather not so good for us this time but still had a lovely time Everything in the cottage is ideal cooking equipment everything you need Coffee tea milk chocolate and biscuits all left for you My only little problem would be if the weather was nicer to sit out there is a chair on the front and a bench on the side so wouldn’t be able to sit together?

The cottage was great for our purposes. Our house was being renovated so it suited our temporary needs.

We had a lovely stay here at the start of April, great location with views across the hills, very well equipped and the majority of attractions within an hours drive. There is also a pub within walking distance that we visited and had a great meal. The only detail we noticed was a draught from the front door (open key lock and door changed shape over time) but we make shifted a draught excluder.
