About this Hostel

Welcome to Hatters at Hilton Chambers Hostel in Manchester. Situated right in the heart of the City Centre, our three star award winning property offers modern accommodation for groups or couples on a short break. Enjoy relaxing in our comfortable lounge, courtyard garden or head out and visit the great choice of attractions, pubs, restaurants and shops right on the doorstep.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Our private double, twin and triple rooms all have ensuite facilities, plasma TV, fresh bed linen and clean towels. We also have a range of dormitories which vary in size with most having a large ensuite bathroom. We can accommodate from four to twelve people in our dorms and all guest rooms have secure key card access.

A continental breakfast is included in our room rates and served from 7.30am to 10am.

Guests enjoy a discounted car parking rate at the nearby multi storey park on Tariff Street - £10 for twenty four hours. Please bring your ticket to reception and additional street car parking can be found closeby. 

Availability

Prices start from £12 per person per night. Bed linen is supplied and towels can be hired from reception. Check in time is after 2pm and please note that photo ID will be required. Departure time is by 11am on your final day. Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and are unable to share dormitories with guests outside of their group. 

For groups of 7-14 people, full payment must be made seven days prior to arrival. For groups of 15 or over, a 15% non refundable deposit is required along with the full balance four weeks prior to arrival.

Around and About

Our hostel is situated in the Northern Quarter close to the Arndale Centre and Piccadilly Gardens. There are plenty of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops nearby along with Manchester Victoria station, Manchester Piccadilly station, The Printworks and the National Football Museum. Attractions to visit in the surrounding area include John Rylands Library, Salford Quays and the football stadium of the Etihad and Old Trafford.

Directions

Head north west onto Chorlton St and turn right onto Portland street with Piccadilly Gardens on your left, take a left onto Newton Street. Turn left at cross roads, Hilton Chambers is 150 yards on the right hand side next door to the Koffee Pot Cafe.

From Manchester Piccadilly exit main doors and head west onto Station Approach. Take a right onto Ducie Street then first left onto Dale Street. When you reach Newton Street turn right and then take first left onto Hilton Street, Hatters is 150 yards on the right.

From Manchester Airport you can catch a train which takes approximately 20 minutes to Piccadilly Station. Alternatively there is now a 24 hour bus service which runs to/from Manchester Airport.
