Formerly two separate dwellings, Wakearley has been lovingly transformed into a spacious and contemporary holiday home located in the popular seaside town of Thornton Cleveleys, which is well located for exploring the north west coast and beyond. Offering a good selection of shops, markets and eateries, Cleveleys also has a traditional promenade which offers all the fun you would expect from the seaside including arcades, rides and entertainment. Nature lovers can enjoy riverside walks, picnics or bird watching at the award winning Wyre Estuary Country Park which is within a 5-minute walk. Good for families, the park also has a playground and visitor centre with café and there are recreational opportunities for cycling, horse riding and boat launching. Fleetwood with its famous market and Freeport shopping mall is just over 3 miles away, as is the cosmopolitan market town of Poulton-le-Fylde. Blackpool, with its many attractions and famous tower, is just over 5 miles away. The more classic seaside resort of Lytham St Annes which has four championship golf courses as well as lots of exclusive shops, bars and cafés is just 10 miles away. Should you fancy a change from coastal landscapes, the Lake District, Forest of Bowland and Ribble Valley are all within an hour’s drive. Manchester is also within an hours’ drive. The outdoor hot tub provides the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day’s sightseeing. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.
