Cleveleys is a bustling town on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire, about 4 miles north of Blackpool. There are a few interesting buildings and landmarks dotted about the town such as the Marsh Mill Windmill, an attractive part of Thornton Cleveleys heritage, and a Grade II* Listed building, which is opened as much as possible by The Friends of Marsh Mill. This is a local group foreseeing its upkeep and allowing visitors to see inside, and marvel at its fabulous and intricate workings. For car enthusiasts, the annual Cleveleys Car Show is on which hosts a wide range of vehicles including Classic Cars, Sports Cars, Modern Classics, American Cars, hot rod, kit cars and Specialist vehicles. Cleveleys seafront is just over a mile long, stretching from the boundary with Blackpool in the south at Kingsway, not far from Anchorsholme Park. Here you see the design of the sea defences, built carefully to keep the water out and prevent flooding. The promenade, cafe, water play area, artworks and easy access are very popular with visitors and local people. Jubilee Leisure Park adds fun-filled facilities with a children’s activity centre, cinema, pub and restaurant. The Affinity Shopping outlet is located next to the small and quaint, Wyre dock and marina for further opportunities to enjoy. Nearby at Blackpool, the seven-mile sandy beach and promenade offer donkey rides, fish-and-chip shops and theatres. Other landmarks include the Blackpool Tower, Blackpool illuminations, the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Water Park, the Winter Gardens, and Blackpool Zoo. The seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes-on-Sea nestle further along the spectacular stretch of coastline, a photographer's haven, lined with pretty parks, rolling sandy dunes and the Ribble Estuary Nature Reserve. With so much to entertain its guests and splendid coastal views to admire at every angle, consider your next trip in the UK, to Cleveleys.

A massive through kitchen, conservatory, with 3 sets of doors to open in the summer, dining, sitting room. Just right for entertaining a large family, with cupboards and drawers full of everything you might need and a cosy snug for quiet moments, and downstairs wc. A master suite with large comfy bed and sofa and great wet room, tv and so much space. Three more large bedrooms, no single beds, one with TV. A huge bathroom with walk-in shower and a jacuzzi bath you could get lost in. Lots of seating in the garden for warm days and a hot tub, which we did not try. Location is just off A585, but you would not know it. We walked into Cleveley in around 20 mins. Here you can get bus/tram to Fleetwood or Blackpool or get a giant meringue at Cleveleys Kitchen! We also had a very nice meal at Pablo's in Fleetwood. They close at 3p.m., so it's good for long lunches. Staff are very nice. We cycled on the sea front at Fleetwood and from the south of Cleveleys, right through to Star Gate. All off the road, so great for families. We also cycled round Stanley Park and out past the Zoo. Another good ride for families and the cafe in the park is well worth a visit. We sat outside with the bikes and people stopped to talk to us!
