New for 2022 a stunning lodge with lakeside views one double with en suite, one double and one twin with bathroom. Fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with doors to a private terrace, seating area and an outdoor bubbling hot tub. The kitchen features a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is also a utility room with a sink for washing boots. The perfect location for a family holiday.

Early check-in at 2pm is available at this site but must be booked and paid for at least 1 week prior to arrival. Due to the fact that lodges need to be cleaned and hot tubs drained, cleaned and refilled after every guest has vacated, check-in time is strictly 3pm onwards at this site unless an early check-in has been booked prior to arrival".
There will be that routine grounds maintenance being undertaken on the lakes to remove reeds growing in the lakes. This will be undertaken in all the lakes on site and should not affect your stay in any way apart from the slight noise of the machinery on site.

Beautiful lodge we were welcomed by a very friendly swan which the kids loved. Lovely big space, clean and well presented. It does have a few signs of wear and tear but don’t let that put you off I would definitely return but thought I should mention them so maybe they get fixed..handle missing from bedside cabinet, lights wouldn’t stay on the extractor fan, bracket on one of the panes of glass on the balcony had become unattached, one bed slat broken on single bed, clock on wall needed a battery and no bread knife. The front door broke when we were there but a very friendly member of staff fixed it immediately. These are relatively minor things, we were comfortable, the lodge was a good central point to visit Lancashire. The local village had everything we needed including a pub in walking distance, The Shovel Inn great food and we were lucky to see an amazing singer there too. We fed the ducks everyday, there were reed warblers, herons, egrets and lots of rabbits! Fantastic little place that has gave us some great memories.
