Guests have consistently praised The Old Dairy for its spaciousness, quiet location, and cleanliness. The cottage's well-equipped nature and thoughtful touches, such as provisions on arrival and dog-friendly amenities, contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Its proximity to good eateries and lovely walks, along with the comfort of en-suite bathrooms, make it a highly recommended retreat for both families and groups.
The cottage is frequently described as clean and tidy, with guests appreciating the well-maintained condition. One mention of mildew in showers suggests a minor issue, but overall, the high standards of cleanliness are evident.
The property is lauded for its beautiful and quiet location, ideal for relaxing breaks and walks. Its proximity to Clitheroe and local pubs adds to its appeal, although a car is recommended for ease of access.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. The spacious rooms and en-suite bathrooms for each room enhance the overall comfort experienced by visitors.
The Old Dairy is well-equipped, meeting guests' needs and expectations. However, a few maintenance issues were noted, such as a toilet seat needing fitting and a water exchange issue, which slightly detract from an otherwise excellent rating.
Guests have noted and appreciated the thoughtful provisions upon arrival, including tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, as well as dog bowls and towels. While these gestures are warmly received, it is important to note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed.
