Patio doors open out to the shared courtyard area, set with a glistening water fountain and a welcoming restaurant, providing a truly delightful Mediterranean-style ambiance. Excellent views of Pendle Hill are available on each floor. On the top floor you'll find two beautiful bedrooms, a king-size bed and a twin, along with a stylish shower room, where you can kick-start your day with an invigorating rinse or wash away the day before bed. Take advantage of your central location and head into the heart of Clitheroe to tuck-in to a delicious meal at one of the many eateries that line the high-street; with foreign cuisines, elegant brasseries, traditional pubs and cafes to choose from, there's something to suit all tastes and budgets. At the end of an action-packed day, head to the Bowland Beer Hall, a Bavarian-style beer hall famed as one of the longest bars in Britain, and savour a crisp pint of ale, with a staggering 42 hand pulls and 24 cask beers on offer at any one time! Historians will delight with a tour of the medieval remains of Clitheroe Castle, a Grade I listed castle boasting a history dating back over 800 years; here, little ones can lose themselves amongst the maze, or learn more about the fascinating heritage at Clitheroe Castle Museum. Foodies will have found their haven in this rich area, with a local market available in Clitheroe for purchasing fresh produce as well as the Annual Food & Drink Festival in July, or venture just a short distance to visit a superb selection of eateries, including the Inn at Whitewell, which was voted Pub of the Year by Good Pub Guide in 2020, the Michelin starred restaurants of White Swan at Fence and Northcote Manor and the Freemanson’s at Wiswell which made the top 100 in the National Restaurant Awards. There’s plenty of sights to see within the picture-perfect area of the Ribble Valley, boasting miles of unspoilt countryside, quaint villages and rich history; be sure to embark on a two-footed adventure through the spectacular landscapes of the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or come face-to-face with the animals at Wild Boar Park. Thrill seekers can venture further afield and tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks, an exhilarating challenge that sees participants climb to the summit of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough within a 12-hour timeframe. For a taste of city life, why not hop aboard a direct train to Manchester where you can take advantage of the excellent shopping opportunities, restaurants, museums and eateries.
