Guests say

Foxtales Cottage in Clitheroe is highly praised for its welcoming atmosphere, particularly for dog owners. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches from the owner, Wendy. The central location is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, despite the lack of garden space. Local amenities, including a pub and deli, add to the convenience and charm of the stay.

The cottage is consistently described as clean, with all furniture and equipment in good working order. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest a high standard is maintained.

The central location is appreciated for its convenience and proximity to local attractions, although the lack of garden space and proximity to a busy road are noted. However, these do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a nice comfy bed and a living space that accommodates both people and pets well. The provision of dog blankets and treats also contributes to the comfort of the stay.

The property is described as well-equipped, with everything needed for a stay. The presence of a welcome pack and attention to detail indicate well-maintained facilities.

The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with welcome packs for both guests and dogs. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are a courtesy and not guaranteed.

Just a gorgeous and homely cottage - fabulous host and local amenities are great. Yes it is on a main road but it genuinely did not impact on us at all - you can park directly outside of the property. We will be back! x
