Situated in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists. For those wanting to venture further afield, the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks are only a short drive away and for days out all the family will enjoy, visit Bowland Wild Boar Park (4.5 miles), Towneley Hall (17 miles), or the Roman museum at Ribchester (7 miles).
