Had everything we needed and more. The views are wonderful and the property was very clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with wine, milk, tea, coffee, jam, biscuits and croissants. There are so many walks around here, one we loved was Whitewell Stepping Stones. We also had a day out to the Lake District and enjoyed Coniston Waters. Just be aware the main bedroom is right on the main road through the village, so you can be woken early by traffic if a light sleeper. But other than that we had a wonderful time!

The house is well maintained and tastefully decorated. Lovely views across the valley from the patio windows. Ideal position in the centre of an interesting and attractive village. The rooms are a good size and were all cleaned to a high standard. The owners were friendly and helpful. Would love to return in the warmer weather.
