Within the village you will find a shop for picking up the essentials, a village hall and a selection of eateries. The village also hosts regular Food & Gift Fairs, where you can browse a selection of stalls selling cheese, preserves, jewellery and crafts, and more.

Thereâs a few cheeky squirrels that let you know theyâd like feeding, lots of pheasants that come right up to the lodge, plenty of different birds will come if you put food down for them. We were even lucky enough to see a deer one morning. Itâs so peaceful with stunning surroundings, the lodge is equipped with everything you need. Plenty of nice walks near by too and places to eat out if you choose. Take plenty of bird nuts and seed and the wildlife will be right outside your door. Highly recommended, we will definitely be retuning.
