It’s the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee or toast to another beautiful day as the sun sets in the distance. A fully fitted kitchen awaits with everything you need during your stay. Ascending the staircase, you find two double bedrooms awaiting you on the upper floor, each exuding its unique charm and comfort. Soft, plush bedding invites you to sink into a restful slumber, while ample storage space ensures that you can unpack and make yourself at home. The Ribble Valley is well-known for its spectacular scenery, welcoming country inns and excellent walking opportunities including the famous Tolkien Trail at Hurst Green which is also home to the Grade One listed Stonyhurst College. The area has an abundance of footpaths and cycle routes, making this the perfect base for those who love the great outdoors. Other places worth a visit and within easy reach include the Forest of Bowland, 15 miles and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Samlesbury Hall, 10 miles, and Lancaster, 21 miles. Blackpool and the Fylde Coast are a 40-minute drive away, and the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales can be reached in approximately 1 hour. Beach 22 miles.

    Church View is the best holiday cottage that my wife and I have ever stayed in. The weather was not kind during our stay, but the cottage was a lovely retreat from the wind and rain. It is warm, very comfortable, beautifully kept and superbly equipped with very fine appliances. The WiFi is excellent. The location, just off Berry Lane in the centre of Longridge, is convenient for shops, pubs and eateries of which there are many, and the surrounding countryside is splendid. Church View is excellent value for money. We spent a week there. We’d be happy to spend a month.

    Church View is a comfortable, well appointed and well equipped holiday home near the centre of Longridge and adjacent to restaurants, pubs and supermarkets.It is a perfect base to tour the Lancashire countryside, from its coastline and its interesting towns and cities or take part in the many outdoor activities in the area.Church View is a perfect place to return to after a hard day exploring lancashire.Some people mentioned the parking, I was driving a large SUV and it was not difficult to park, just took some care to make sure the doors could be opened.
