Bank Lane House is a spacious and well-equipped property, ideal for large families or groups. Bank Lane House can be found on Lytham Edge Lodge Park amidst picturesque countryside in the village of Warton, just 3 miles from the coastal town of Lytham St Annes. Wonderfully spacious and set in its own grounds it makes the most wonderful base for large families and small groups wanting a get together on this beautiful part of the Fylde coast.
Warton is a tranquil village with the centre around a 15-minute walk, and where you’ll find local facilities. Alternatively, a 10-minute drive will take you to the golden sands of Lytham St Anne’s, where you’ll find a huge choice of trendy cocktail bars, restaurants and boutiques. Lytham Green stretches the length of the promenade with views across the estuary towards Southport. It’s also the setting for open air concerts and exhibitions including exciting events such as the Lytham Proms Music Festival.
Neighbouring St Annes is a traditional Victorian seaside town with a pier, glorious sandy beach, and lively shopping centre. Following the coast round, Blackpool offers bright lights, razzamatazz, glitz and glamour, not to mention the famous tower and Pleasure Beach. Cleveleys has a busy town centre and beautiful seafront, and Fleetwood an outlet shopping centre experience. Inland you’ll find the quaint market towns of Garstang and Poulton-Le-Fylde, and then further afield the historic city of Lancaster and even Lake District National Park. With such a diverse offering of things to do, you really will be spoilt for choice.

Lovely home good sized bedrooms and the games table was loved by both old and young. We had a lovely weekend and the garden area is a little suntrap. Definitely stay again

Lovely friendly staff on arrival. Our third stay in this propery which really suits our family of ten to be together. The games table in the conservatory is a huge hit and we have family pool tournaments! We enjoyed the extra table in there which is good for jig saws and board games. The settee and chairs were also appreciated. As others have commented, we feel a downstairs shower and toilet would benefit the property immensely. The bed linen in the ground floor bedroom was of poor quality and we felt the house could have been cleaner. There is a shortage of pans in the kitchen, it being very difficult to cook for 10 people. In fact, this time we took our own large pan which we feel shouldn't really be necessry!All that said - we love this place and will no doubt return.Thank you.

We chose the property based on its location and size- whi.ch were important for a large family weekend away. The location was very quiet and easy access to the seafront by car. The games room was a great space for a large group and was well used and enjoyed by us all. The kitchen although fairly large lacked certain things. There were few oven dishes, not enough bowls, glasses and certain cutlery for 10 people. Some of the bedroom carpets were "bitty". Although there was an ensuite with a shower we were informed on the morning of arrival that it was not working, which for a group of 9 was less than ideal. As this did not appear to have happened recently we should have been informed earlier. The family bathroom although had a shower over the bath had a door that blew open and had no lock.Although we had an enjoyable weekend we all feel the property is in need of a bit of tlc and re stocking of the kitchen.
