Although the rear of the property is not overlooked some sort of curtain or covering over the patio doors would be nice for privacy. Must be great in Summer with the huge back garden and facilities but I thought the canal in the listing was a short walk behind the property when in fact the garden is totally enclosed. In fact dont know where the canal is although it assume it is nearby. The property itself is very nice with a sort of new/old theme and clearly expensively done. The worst part of the property is the small single vehicle track which is the only way in, is full of potholes and few overtaking points when encountering any other vehicle. Luckily it is only a short road but it does have a small bridge to cross which isn't for the faint hearted.

Upon arrival we found the cottage to be beautifully clean, warm, cosy and inviting. Within a few minutes our little dog was already asleep so that was a very good sign! The area is lovely and quiet and has lots of places for nice walks, but is also very close to amenities in Garstang. The garden area was perfect for us with having a yard out of the kitchen doors, and then the large field at the back for the dog to run around in. The facilities were excellent and the beds were so comfortable, we had the best nights sleep we have had in a long time. We really didn't want to go home and will definitely be looking to stay again soon. Thank you to the owners for this wonderful place to stay.
