Morecambe is a delightful seaside town, offering a sandy beach for guests to stroll along, as well as a promenade and selection of pubs, tasty eateries, cafes, and convenience stores for all of your holiday essentials, with options including Owl’s Nest, Bow Window, and Blue Mountain Restaurant. The property is close to the Arnside and Silverdale AONB, where there are stunning coastal walks, birdwatching opportunities, and the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, as well as the historic city of Lancaster, where there is a castle, quaint shops, and plenty of pubs, eateries, and walks at Williamson Park to be enjoyed. Heysham Beach offers coastal strolls along pretty paths leading through the scenery, whilst the incredible Lake District National Park is teaming with walks, mountain biking, watersports, and beautiful honey pot villages. Places to visit include Windermere with its boat cruises and watersports, walks through the countryside at sites such as Scafell Pike, and dining options at Ambleside. The town of Morecambe is set on Morecambe Bay. Always a popular resort, recent investment has revived the coastline and offers families the chance to enjoy the many pleasures of the seaside, whether it is flying kites, building sandcastles or simply enjoying a stroll along the promenade. Morecambe has two large live music venues, the Platform and the Hothouse. Don’t forget to visit the Eric Morecambe Statue, which looks out across the promenade, and the Tern Project, a series of public art installations inspired by the birdlife of Morecambe Bay. Families can enjoy Happy Mount Park, where family-friendly attractions compliment the atmosphere of peace and tranquillity of a traditional park.
