Although it feels tucked away, you’re never far from life here. Halton village is just down the road and has everything you need for an easy afternoon out. Walk the riverside paths, call into the café for coffee and cake, or simply soak up the friendly atmosphere. If you want a little more buzz, Lancaster is less than ten minutes away and well worth a wander. This small but lively city blends history and character with an excellent choice of places to eat and drink. Spend an hour or two exploring the castle, dip into the City Museum, or pick up something tasty at the market before heading home to put your feet up.

For those keen to get out in the fresh air, the surrounding area won’t disappoint. The estate itself has lovely walks, but venture further and you can take in the big skies and wide sands of Morecambe Bay, or head up to Arnside and Silverdale for nature reserves and quiet coastal views. The Lake District is close enough for a day trip if you’re craving dramatic fells and glittering water, while those with a taste for adventure might want to try diving at Capernwray’s famous flooded quarry. Prefer something slower? Gresgarth Hall Gardens offers a tranquil afternoon among landscaped lawns and water features, and Crook O’Lune remains a favourite picnic spot for locals. Accommodation Comprises: A luxury home that combines modern design with thoughtful details, Thomas Gray House is set over two floors with living spaces downstairs and bedrooms upstairs.

Ground Floor:

Open-plan lounge with 75-inch hdtv, log burner, and garden access.

Games area with rotating pool table, arcade machine with 100+ games, air hockey, and table football.

Dedicated workspace in a quiet room for remote working.

State-of-the-art kitchen with steam oven, warming tray, integrated coffee machine, dishwasher, and blender.

Dining area seats six comfortably.

Back door opens to garden terrace with BBQ facilities and outdoor dining furniture.

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: King-size bed with garden and river views. It has an ensuite shower room.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds with ample storage.

Bedroom 3: Twin beds. Additional cots available for infants.

Bathroom 1: Ensuite to Bedroom 1, this shower room is beautifully tiled with a double-sized rainfall shower head, WC, heated towelrail, and a handbasin.

Bathroom 2: Family bathroom with a bath, heated towel rail, WC and a handbasin. Luxury toiletries and fluffy towels provided.

Outside: Step outside into a private, enclosed garden where a mix of lawn and paved areas give you space to relax and unwind. Take in the calm of the river flowing nearby, or settle by the firepit as dusk falls. The hot tub is always a highlight—perfect for a long soak under the stars. There’s parking for two cars right outside, and if you feel like stretching your legs, the estate’s leafy paths are ideal for gentle walks surrounded by nature.

Additional Information: Dogs are welcome by arrangement. Utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Mid-stay cleaning is possible for an additional fee. The owners are unable to accommodate Saturday changeovers.
