Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it extremely clean upon arrival. However, one guest's experience with an unexpected cleaning bill suggests room for clarity on cleaning expectations, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly regarded for its quiet and relaxing park setting, with easy access to a nearby supermarket and beaches. The convenience and natural beauty contribute to a high score.

Comfort is a standout feature, with guests mentioning comfortable outdoor seating, a bathroom with a bath, and an additional en-suite. The lodge's homely atmosphere and amenities contribute to a very high comfort level.

Facilities are well-received, with a large hot tub being a highlight. Access to a pool and restaurant adds value, although the additional cost for pool access was a point of contention for one guest. Overall, facilities are very good.

While guests have noted the lodge is well-equipped and offers a selection of games and DVDs, there is no mention of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness based on gifts, and the score is set to null.

I was sent a picture of the bed not made, some crumbs on the carpet and a bowl to be washed and a bag of rubbish. Surely when every person checks out of the lodge you get it deep cleaned surely that’s in the price you pay when booking? Surely you Wash/change the bedding? & Sanitise all the kitchen, bedrooms bathroom? Surely you don’t rely on the people renting the lodge to make sure it’s at a high cleaning standard for the people next checking in? As that’s very very unhygienic & you should be getting the lodge deep cleaned after every stay! I came away with my 4 year daughter who’s currently on chemotherapy & my son who’s 8 to have a few days respite between my daughters treatments I thought we could go away and enjoy some time together we rushed back the morning of check out and left a couple of bowls to be washed & beds not made and a bag to be disposed and we have been charged £180 I find this disgusting. I have never stayed anywhere where I have been left responsible for cleaning the property to an inch of it life before checking out. When booking there is nowhere that states if I don’t clean the lodge I will be charged. It says if there is damage I will be charged and there was no damage to the property! I expect cleaning fee to be returned to my account immediately.

All 4 of us had such an amazing time and the only regret was not staying for longer! The lodge itself was extremely clean and very homely as soon as you walk through the door. If I had any constructive criticism it would be that there wasn't enough toilet roll and no recycling facilities. Other than that no complaints from any of us! The hot tub was well worth booking, as a group we spent a lot of our time in the hot tub which was too good to get out of! We would 1000% return and would highly recommend this lodge for anybody else looking to book! Thank you for your hospitality!!!!!

It was in such a quiet and relaxing park and the pitch itself looking out at the small pond was wonderful. Just what we needed for our escape. I hadn’t realised the access to the pool wasn’t included or that day passes literally meant you could come and go - both of these things would have been helpful to know as £25 a go for a family for a swimming session adds up. However the pool and facilities were very good and we did use them. Including visiting the lovely restaurant. The hot tub is very large and was a wonderful addition. The main reason we booked! As well as outdoor seating that we were able to use in the April sunshine!!! The bathroom with a BATH was superb and additional en-suite just made everything more comfortable for us. Your selection of games and especially dvds went down so well. The van was fully equipped and we really enjoyed the stay. Nearest shop/supermarket is Tesco’s approximately 10 minute drive which is useful and the drive to beaches including Morecambe was only short which meant getting out and enjoying the sea air was easy. There was a manual for everything in the van plus taxi numbers, places to visit etc which meant not having to do the leg work yourself. You can’t wish for more from a booking. Peaceful and (almost) perfect.
