Very clean and well equipped. Decking allows a lot of privacy as to back of property. Also, very secure gate so our dog could be outside a lot of the day without worrying about him getting out. Only drawback, and being really picky here, there was no parasol....but as I say that is going overboard, as everything else was everything you could want.

The lodge was beautifully decorated with home comforts and the addition of things like blankets to cosy up in the evenings was a lovely touch. We needed to contact the owners on one occasion and they were very helpful and quick at responding. It was a really good central place to stay between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales and definitely feel this is somewhere we would enjoy coming back to and exploring more of these beautiful areas. There were also good facilities on site and we made the most of the gym, pool and spa on the rainy day.

The lodge was amazing - Spacious, well equipped, clean and tidy and in a really nice park. So much to do in the area just a short drive away. Everything you could need. Would absolutely recommend and hopefully will stay again.
