Whether you’re easing into the morning with something playing in the background or winding down after a day of exploring, it’s a space that suits every kind of moment. As the light begins to fade, wander outside to your private lawned area.

With a picnic bench ready and the countryside settling around you, it’s an ideal place to sip a drink, share a quiet chat, or simply watch the sun sink behind the fields. Back indoors, the compact kitchen keeps things simple, with an induction hob, combi microwave/oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, and all the essentials you need for easy meals. From quick breakfasts to low-fuss dinners, everything is close to hand. When the day is done, the double bed offers a calm, restful place to end the evening, while the sofa bed adds handy extra sleeping space if you’re travelling with others. In the morning, the neatly finished shower room, with its basin and WC, sets you up for the day ahead with a fresh, revitalising start.

The picturesque hamlet of Tewitfield is settled in Lancashire beside the Lancashire Canal. Stroll along the Tewitfield Canal Locks for scenic views of the countryside, ideal for avid walkers and cyclists. The village is home to a marina, where you will find barges and boats and across the road is an excellent farm shop selling local produce and hosting crafts. You can enjoy dining at a County Inn, Longlands Hotel with a restaurant serving traditional meals. Have some family fun at Crazy Golf @ Greenlands and enjoy exploring the surrounding area, with Pike Lake for a peaceful afternoon and Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway slightly further afield. Jump in the car and visit the market town of Carnforth for a wide selection eateries and specialty shops for a souvenir to remember your holiday by. Steeped in history is the bustling town of Kendal, where you can explore a Georgian Manor, the 12th century ruins of Kendal Castle and unveil the past at the museum.
