Snaptrip says

Coniston View 9 is a well-received lodge in Carnforth, praised for its beauty, peaceful setting, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the spacious decking, friendly staff, and the lodge's cleanliness. The location is convenient, close to local amenities and the M6, making it an easy base for exploring the Lake District. Some minor maintenance issues were reported but were swiftly addressed.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the lodge to be spotlessly clean and tidy, with only one mention of cleanliness issues related to the shower area and carpet, which seems to be an isolated incident.

The lodge is well-liked for its quiet position and proximity to local amenities and the Lake District. The ease of access and the scenic surroundings contribute to its high rating.

Guests consistently report that the beds are very comfortable and the lodge is warm and homely, with a few suggestions for minor improvements such as sharper kitchen knives.

While the lodge itself is equipped with good facilities, some guests felt that the on-site amenities were overpriced and the Welcome Pack could provide more information. Maintenance responsiveness is good, but the need for improvements in certain areas is noted.

The reviews mention a Christmas tree and a bottle of Prosecco, which are nice touches, but as these gifts are not consistently referenced across all reviews, it cannot be guaranteed that such thoughtfulness is a standard practice for every stay.
