Guests say

Guests generally appreciate the Coach House for its cleanliness, convenient location, and cosy atmosphere. The property is praised for being well-equipped and comfortable, with easy access to local amenities and the train station. Some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional furnishings and kitchenware were mentioned, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting this aspect positively. Guests describe it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'extremely clean', indicating a high standard of hygiene.

The location is frequently commended for its proximity to the station, local shops, and the promenade. While some guests mention the convenience of the location, a few have concerns about parking and noise from a nearby garage, slightly affecting the score.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the property cosy. However, some guests suggested improvements such as additional seating and a grab rail in the shower, indicating room for enhancement in this category.

Facilities are generally good, with ample cutlery and crockery, though some guests noted a lack of specific kitchen items and minor maintenance issues like a non-working lock on the bathroom door and a loose toilet seat. These small niggles suggest the facilities are well-received but could benefit from attention to detail.

While guests have not explicitly mentioned gifts, one review noted the pleasant surprise of a bottle of wine upon arrival. However, as this is not a consistent theme across the reviews, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the available information.

Located on the southernmost tip of the Lake District, Arnside is surrounded by low limestone hills, marshy plains, and deciduous woodlands, all of which have been declared as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This town, once used as a fishing harbour, has preserved many of its historic buildings. With its picturesque pier and harbour, the community of Arnside serves as a constant reminder of the town's distinguished past while also giving breathtaking views of the Kent Estuary. The Pele Towers, built to ward off raiding Scots in the 15th century, may be found to the south of the hamlet. Limestone pavements and beautiful woodland treks through landscapes teeming with unusual plants, trees, and wildlife make the immediate area a veritable paradise for ecotourists. You may also get to the world-famous Leighton Moss rspb Reserve in less than two kilometres. There are guided treks that span the Kent Estuary and reveal the area's full beauty. The Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales, and Lake District are all within a day trip's drive.

Location was perfect and the bottle of wine on arrival was a welcome treat. Thank you

Good access to local facilities especially the rail service for non car users. Set in a stunning location. Will return in all probability

  • James

Great location, across the road from the station. Very well laid out and modern accommodation. Comfortable, clean and with every comfort. Nice and quiet just a short walk from Arnsides promenade. Only negative comment has to be, the allocated parking which can only be described as silly, with the passenger side of the car against the wall, leaving the drivers side parked on double yellows. This was made even more uncomfortable, by an unfriendly neighbour who insists you stick rigidly to your alloted space, to the inch.
