About this property

Resting in the quaint seaside village of Arnside in Cumbria is Coach House. This fabulous, renovated coach house boasts a contemporary, stylish, open-plan living space welcoming up to four guests and close proximity to beach, local amenities and the Lake District National Park; perfect for families or friends looking to explore the coast and the countryside. After a fun-filled day in Cumbria, cross the threshold and head straight into the fully-equipped kitchen where you can rustle up hearty meals for the whole family. Enjoy the meal as a group at the dining table before sinking into the plush corner sofa where you can snuggle up with your loved ones and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV. When yawning begins, head downstairs to wash off the day’s adventure in the bathroom then catch up on your rest in either the ground-floor king-size, single or first-floor single. Coach House lies conveniently near local stores which can help ease your self-catered stay and pubs like The Albion which serve delicious meals and drinks perfect for evenings out! On sunny days, pack up your beach essentials ahead of spending the day upon the shores of Arnside Beach where you can admire views across the Kent Estuary to the Lake District National Park; and no trip to the beach would be complete without indulging in fish and chips! The surrounding area is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and guests can take advantage of its wealth of walks and trails such as the woodland walk to Fairy Steps where you can admire the stunning views. Nearby attractions include Lakeland Wildlife Oasis which displays animals such as meerkats and snow leopards as well as underwater life, Levens Hall, Lakeland Maze Farm Park and the National Trust side of Sizergh. The Lake District National Park and its famed lake towns are just a short scenic drive away; visit Windermere to take to its iconic lake on boats, kayak or paddle boards, or head to Kendal or Ambleside which all provide access to walks woven throughout the park. Explore the wonders of Cumbria at Coach House.

Located on the southernmost tip of the Lake District, Arnside is surrounded by low limestone hills, marshy plains, and deciduous woodlands, all of which have been declared as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This town, once used as a fishing harbour, has preserved many of its historic buildings. With its picturesque pier and harbour, the community of Arnside serves as a constant reminder of the town's distinguished past while also giving breathtaking views of the Kent Estuary. The Pele Towers, built to ward off raiding Scots in the 15th century, may be found to the south of the hamlet. Limestone pavements and beautiful woodland treks through landscapes teeming with unusual plants, trees, and wildlife make the immediate area a veritable paradise for ecotourists. You may also get to the world-famous Leighton Moss rspb Reserve in less than two kilometres. There are guided treks that span the Kent Estuary and reveal the area's full beauty. The Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales, and Lake District are all within a day trip's drive.

Extremely small space a long side the road. We only have a small car and struggled to park, if someone had a bigger car it would have been very difficult to park. The next door neighbour was pretty unfriendly about parking also and we were very careful parking our car.
